Story

No story.

Game Play

This is 5 on 5 basketball game the uses the basics of block, run, shoot, & pass. Like other basketball games you will be back and forward in the court all the time. When ducking, blocking, or doing a free throw a bar with a white dot & a red mark inside will appear to successfully do the action you attempt you have to stop the white dot that moves back and forward inside the bar. If you miss the red mark or took to much time you will miss. During a match when the ball is not in play you can call time out to access your coach screen to make any change if desired. Game play not that much for but still payable for like 10 minutes after that it gets annoying.

The Good

The close-ups of(jump balls, free throws, 3-point jumpers, & airborne slams).

Sega logos(Sega & 16 bit logo on the court).

The bad

No Options (Especially Time Adjusting why? Because every match has 4 quarters each which last 10 minutes that means 4Q X 10M = 40 minutes. Add additional time for half time show that can not be skip plus time outs by both teams. That’s a lot of time and is it worth it? I don’t think so. Control Editing is not available too.)

Demo (The Demo option is just a waste of time no useful for nothing.)

Music (I think I only hear one track for the whole game.)

Characters (All 8 teams share the same line up 2 white characters & 3 black characters. The white players sprite is the same for all, the same goes for the black players so that means that there are only 2 distinct character sprites in the entire game.)

Stages (One court for the whole game.)

Conclusion

Most sport games are not worth playing and this game is not the exception. It could have been more of what it is but too many failures within the game and the lack of options ruin it for me but if you can overlook all those bad points it has give a try at your own risk. SGS

Only get it if

  1. You are crazy
  2. Want to waste precious time
